Mr. Chen’s IP practice focuses on patent drafting and prosecution as well as providing legal services regarding patent search, opinions on patentability, re-examination and invalidation, infringement analysis, and other matters related to intellectual property right. Mr. Chen also has rich experience in patent litigations in a broad range of technical areas, such as chemistry and chemical engineering. He has drafted and prosecuted hundreds of patent applications in a variety of technical fields, including organic and inorganic chemistry, new material, pharmaceuticals, chemical engineering, polymer, environmental science, metallurgy, food, etc.

One of representative cases of CSPTAL ranking among China’s Top 10 law firms for patent administrative litigation in 2018-2019 is represented by Mr. Chen. Mr. Chen is determined through evaluation by China IP Press as 4-Star Patent Attorney in 2016.He was selected to work as a part-time technical investigator of the Beijing Intellectual Property Court in 2020.
