Jianying PAN Partner Patent Attorney

Ms. Pan’s expertise covers the area of circuit and system design, electronic engineering, telecommunication and information technique, proficient in wireless and optical communication technology and familiar with various signal processing techniques.

Ms. Pan earned her M.S. degree in Communication & Information System from Peking University in 2005 and B.S. degree in Electronics Engineering from Peking University in 2002. After joining CSPTAL in 2005, Ms. Pan acts on filing of patent application, drafting, deputizing and preparing of response to the Office Actions. Ms. Pan also provides legal services such as patent re-examination, patent inquiry and searching, and other affairs concerning intellectual property rights.

Ms. Pan was qualified as a patent attorney before the Chinese Patent Office in 2006.

Ms. Pan was trained in a US IP law firm in greater New York area in 2014, to learn U.S. patent law and practice, to provide professional services to assist foreign clients in filing applications in China.

Ms. Pan is familiar with the prosecution procedures and requirements before EPO and USPTO, to provide services for Chinese clients in filing applications in Europe and U.S., and prepare remarks to the Office Actions. Ms. Pan also participated in the patent invalidation of famous telecommunications companies, claim charts preparation in patent infringement analysis, and standards essential patents evaluation.
